The 2019 Chevy Camaro showcases the latest in creature comforts, including an innovative infotainment system with the latest in wireless connectivity. Chevrolet engineers have also crafted this Camaro with the smartest technology in automobile safety, like cameras and sensors to keep the driver alert and aware and an ultra-high-strength steel safety cage to protect everyone inside. And starting at just $25,000 for the standard Camaro 1LS,¹ Chevy has made it easier than ever to get a piece of this American dream.

Drive & Handling

The 2019 Chevy Camaro builds on the traditions of the past with new innovations. Drivers can choose from four powertrain options, each with a little bit more oomph than the last.

Standard on the Camaro 1LS, 1LT, and 2LT, the 2.0-liter Turbo uses direct injection and variable valve timing to produce 275 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. This is more than enough to propel the automatic coupe from 0 to 60 in 5.5 seconds,² comfortably within the traditional performance car standard. Even better, that speed comes with the latest in fuel-saving design, one that delivers an EPA-estimated 31 mpg highway.³

The Camaro 1LT, 2LT, and 3LT also come available with a beefier 3.6-liter V6. This engine provides the same standard direct injection and variable valve timing features, but the available 8-speed automatic transmission with Active Fuel Management™ helps shave time off of that 0 to 60 down to 5.1 seconds,² and it bumps the overall performance up to 335 hp and 284 lb-ft of torque.

This year’s legendary Camaro SS lives up to its reputation. Standard in the SS is a 6.2-liter LT1 V8 engine producing 455 hp and 455 lb-ft of torque, enough to impress any competition, launching the automatic coupe from 0 to 60 in 4 seconds flat (moving it out of the performance car range and into the exotic car range).²

Finally, for those that don’t just want but need the heavyweight champion, the Supercharged 6.2-liter LT4 V8 stock engine of the Camaro ZL1 astounds with 650 hp and 650 lb-ft of torque. The ZL1’s 1.7-liter Eaton supercharger erupts from 0 to 60 in 3.5 seconds.⁴

Driver-centric Design

The 2019 Chevy Camaro doesn’t just impress on the outside; the cockpit is also tricked out and well-dressed. The standard seats feature aggressive bolsters intended to provide support when experiencing g-forces in high-speed turns, and they come available as power seats that can memorize personal preferences. These can be upgraded to RECARO® seats or heated and ventilated seats. The standard leather-wrapped flat-bottom steering wheel provides a comfortable grip on the action, and you can enjoy it all with an available heated steering wheel and air vents along the dashboard that can control temperature and airflow through rotational trim rings.

Go completely wireless. You can easily enjoy content on your smartphone or tablet using the standard Bluetooth® or USB connection, or sync your device to stream more than 30 million songs available on Pandora®, Spotify, Android Auto®, Apple CarPlay®⁵or any other streaming service. Thanks to an available charging slot in the center console, inductive wireless charging is available for any compatible smartphone.⁶ Your passengers can also enjoy the wireless life if you opt for the available onboard 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot feature.⁷

Intelligent Connection Features 

Thanks to Chevrolet's available MyLink® system, you can do everything from making and receiving calls to checking the weather and getting turn-by-turn navigation. Sync MyLink® with your compatible smartphone and enjoy personalized entertainment features and in-vehicle apps, like Stitcher Smart Radio™ and OnStar® Turn-by-Turn Navigation. Plus, MyLink® features built-in Teen Driver technology that encourages safe driving habits when parents aren't around with tricks like automatically muting the stereo until the front passengers fasten their seatbelts. You can also connect your new ride to the downloadable myChevrolet mobile app to remotely control vehicle functions,⁷ like ignition and door locks.⁸

Alternative Options

If you want the space and comfort of a sedan, the Chevy Cruze might be a better fit for you. It has remarkable efficiency, in a roomy four-door sedan that can comfortably seat up to five passengers.
